As for the geographical location, it is slightly out of the way of the bustling Dakar, which will allow you to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, well decorated with sunny bathrooms. The meals are concocted with love and know-how, the same goes for the hearty breakfast served each morning. The possibility of having dinner in the evening at the table d'hôtes is an opportunity for exciting encounters. Finding a taxi, negotiating prices, indicating the right addresses: the hostess knows everything and helps you at all times and this is very valuable in a hectic city like Dakar. We sleep very well there, lulled by the sound of the ocean in the background. But beyond the accommodation aspect, it is the people who run it and who work there who make Villa D. From Christelle, charming and energetic mistress of the place, through her hardworking ants and even her kind and very discreet husband but never very far to provide information or other advice. In the end, good place if you want to be “like at home”. The walk with Diablo, the house dog, on the edge of the ocean was certainly the highlight of the stay.
