NILAJA which means in Yoruba language “who brings joy” is a socially responsible sneaker brand that lives through the colors and charms of Africa. For each pair purchased, you fund training in Africa.

I – MAKE YOU DISCOVER AFRICA

Inspired by the diverse, lively and attractive colors of Africa, each of our models transports you to African soil by telling you the history of the continent and making you discover its cultural riches and its singularities.

II – SUPPORTING AFRICAN CRAFTS

Our shoes are made in Senegal by artisan shoemakers. Joining our brand means supporting weavers, shoemakers and fabric retailers on the continent. We want to be a vector of economic and social development by promoting local craftsmanship and perpetuating its know-how.

III – FIGHT AGAINST EXCLUSIONS

Having grown up in a modest environment in Senegal, we considered it essential, through our brand, NILAJA, to help in the training and integration of people from fragile backgrounds. Thus each pair purchased will finance a day of training for “talibés” (street children), albinos and other people with disabilities in Africa.
