Here are the steps to get a national scholarship

Only Senegalese students enrolled in public or private universities can benefit from this type of aid.

Who is this type of scholarship particularly suitable for?

Any student of Senegalese nationality, regularly enrolled in a school or university of higher education can apply.

What documents are needed to file?

The documents to be provided differ according to the level of study.

The new graduates

To make the deposit, they must provide these documents:

  • A certified photocopy of the CNI
  • Photocopy of the student card
  • A photocopy of the attention tray

Students

  • A scholarship application form to be completed
  • A certified photocopy of the CNI
  • Duplicate of the baccalaureate diploma
  • A registration certificate for the current year

NB: the document will be processed after one month from the date of submission.

What are the documents to provide for the renewal of the national scholarship?

Students who have validated their year must submit:

  • A renewal application form
  • A photocopy of the certificate of achievement

Students resuming the year must provide:

  • A renewal application form
  • A photocopy of the baccalaureate diploma

Foreign scholarships

This type of allowance makes it possible to benefit from a scholarship in order to follow studies abroad.

Who can benefit  

This scholarship is intended for Senegalese students who have had pre-registration in countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia.

What are the documents to provide to benefit from a foreign scholarship?  

There are various documents to be provided in order to benefit from a study allowance abroad.

The new graduates

New graduates must submit a file consisting of the following documents:

  • A letter addressed to the Minister of Education
  • A legalized photocopy of the CNI
  • Legalized photocopy of the provisional certificate of the baccalaureate
  • Report card from the second to the terminal
  • A certificate attesting to the pre-registration issued by the foreign establishment
  • Two photos
  • Two letters of recommendation

Where to submit the application file?  

Deposits are made at the courier office at the stock exchange management in Dakar, until August each year.

Types of training grants

There are two types of training scholarships, full scholarships and the half purses. Indeed, the full training scholarships make it possible to pay the monthly payments in full. The beneficiary will only be responsible for the registration fees. While for half scholarship allows only partial fee reduction either 50 % of the sum on the monthly payments.

How to get this type of scholarship?  

This type of scholarship is very easy to get. Indeed, it suffices to apply in agencies such as the Education Orientation Committee (COE) which is located in Foire near the CFPT training school.
