The scientific high school of Diourbel was set up to train the best students in Senegal. Indeed, it is a mixed school of excellence with a boarding system. It is accessible only by competition. This is organized every year. Discover in this article all the necessary information on the entrance exam to the high school of excellence of Diourbel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The high school of excellence of Diourbel <\/strong><\/p>\n

LSD was born from decree 2016 \u2013 1226 of August 19, 2016, followed by decree n\u00b0 13077 which governs the entrance examination to the Scientific High School of Diourbel. It was set up to train high school students in science subjects. The high school offers a boarding system, that is to say that the students stay on site and only return home after 45 days. They also benefit from a scholarship equivalent to 25,000 CFA francs.<\/p>\n

The organization of the courses <\/strong><\/p>\n

Classes start from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the morning and in the evening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This allows students to do a variety of programs. However, certain hours are reserved for sports activities.<\/p>\n

The entrance exam \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The entrance examination to the scientific high school of Diourbel is open to girls as well as boys of the secondary teacher in third class. However, to take part in the competition, you must be of Senegalese nationality and be no more than 17 years old on December 31 of the year of the competition.<\/p>\n

Other conditions to be fulfilled \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

To take part in the competition, the candidate must complete a faultless course in secondary school. Indeed, he must not repeat a year, because his candidacy will not be accepted. In addition, he must have in fourth and third class an average of 15\/20 or more in each scientific subject (PC, SVT, Math). Otherwise, the candidate must obtain this same average in BFEM. That's not all, the candidate must also have an average of 14\/20 in fourth and third grade.<\/p>\n

Also note that the number of places is limited to 60 per year.<\/p>\n
