Sen Eco

SEN ECO was created following the adoption of the law of April 21, 2015 by the National Assembly of Senegal; law which aims to prohibit the sale, production, possession and import of lightweight plastic bags.

This measure taken by the Senegalese government and which aimed to reduce pollution by plastic waste, created a new need for packaging for large distributors (supermarkets etc.) but also individuals and therefore, the appearance of packaging alternatives, in particular paper and braided plastic (polypropylene) bags.

SEN ECO is the very first local company specializing in the manufacture of fabric bags while keeping an African touch and aims to raise awareness and encourage the use of reusable, recyclable, durable and solid bags, friends of the environment. , while demonstrating the potential of local artisans.

Since August 2016, Sen Eco has more than 20 products ranging from reusable bags, linens, furniture coverings and corporate goodies.

The innovative and ecological nature of its products has earned Sen Eco to be selected by the French Embassy as part of the Senegal Youth Forum among 400 other project leaders.
