At Loutcha Dakar
The best Cape Verdean cuisine in Senegal with a warm welcome is at Loutcha. It has two large rooms to accommodate customers and everyone is free to take the place that suits them. A restaurant as there should be more in Dakar. The map is simply mind blowing and well done. On pages and pages, dishes from all over the world are offered: from veal blanquette to couscous and the traditional chicken yassa. Try chicken yassa or “tièp ou djen” (rice with fish). Chez Loutcha may be the best yassa chicken in the Plateau. We recommend the thiebou yappe which is served on Wednesdays and Fridays, a real treat. The hungry will be satiated by the oversized portions. We can also take away you have the choice. Either way the price will not differ.

A very popular little restaurant with good value for money
Avoid the rush hour because you will be sharing your table, the restaurant is so full to bursting. They are a victim of their own success, but the dishes are good and very generous.
