Bakery and pastry shop Located on Avenue Georges Pompidou near Place de l'Indépendance, La Galette offers a very nice selection of breads and cakes. Very well appreciated because of a good organization which minimizes a long wait, the staff is friendly and efficient. The frame is very nice. On the bakery side, we have a wide variety of very nice bread, burger sandwiches and other fast-food products the best in the whole city of Dakar and breakfast is served with several formulas, especially the hot croissants which let the customer wake up the whole daytime. At lunch, the choice is wide and keeps to its promises: texture, temperature, aroma, taste, everything is there. The dishes are well prepared so that we always want to come back. The reception at the tea room is always pleasant and friendly for wine and chocolate addicts. A wide selection of drinks and cocktails is also on offer. Open every day from 6:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. the establishment is very clean and has all the services to best satisfy its customers. When strawberry season hits in Dakar the best place to eat a strawberry pie is at la galette. For dessert, don't miss the almond tartlet or Bourdaloue and pistachio.

I was really bothered just to place an order for pizza to be delivered. I had to make several calls because on the first, I was told that I could only pay by orange money when I didn't have any. Not by cash on delivery, nor by wave nor by card. On the second call, I was asked to give an exact address with street number and other things when I told them it was to be delivered to the Maginot building, rue victor Hugo x avenue lamine gueye. I hung up to get the street number. On the third call, they picked up and hung up on me, on the fourth the same thing. It was on the fifth that I got a certain Maj who finally took charge.
